Summer, what Summer!
Summer, what Summer!
As we approach the Summer Solstice, and longest day of the year, K Lamb Associates delivery teams spirits are not dampened despite the unseasonal weather. Last week saw our Incident Command Level 4 (Strategic) and IC Level 4 (Intermediate) Assessors chewing up the miles headed to more Fire Service clients.
North Yorkshire Fire once again welcomed one of our teams who delivered another weeklong SFJ Awards, Level 4 Award in Intermediate Incident Command. The KLA Course Director reported back how engaged the delegates had been and that the immersive group discussions, formative and summative assessments had all been met with the same enthusiasm which is a credit to the service.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire booked a whole SFJ Awards, Level 7 Award in Strategic Incident Command Course and allocated 4 delegates from their service to attend. Course Director for this course was KLA Centre Head Katherine Lamb herself showing true leadership qualities by staying close to the delivery teams as they go about their business. Always an interesting course, the delegates reported that they got a lot from the group discussions and presentation format.
Confirmed bookings onto KLAs uniquely delivered SFJ Awards, Level 7 Course has seen a massive upturn recently. As well as some familiar clients to us we also give a warm KLA welcome to some new clients namely Principal Officers from Hertfordshire Fire, Norfolk Fire, Surrey Fire, Buckinghamshire Fire and Northamptonshire Fire.
In addition, requests for structured coaching sessions aimed principally at Strategic Level Principal Officers booked onto Level 7 courses are on the rise. At KLA our Strategic Trainers deliver bespoke coaching sessions based on an individual's specific needs.
Feedback from delegates includes;
“KL instructors are all incredibly knowledgeable, but most of all, they are a joy to work with and training, as a consequence, is enjoyable and professionally useful.” ICL2 Revalidation Assessments Humberside Fire
