2025 A Year of Opportunities

2025 A Year of Opportunities

The Christmas decorations are well and truly back in storage as the refreshed K Lamb Associates now charge their laptops, prepare their work kit bags and plan their journeys for the whole of January which starts in earnest this week delivering the first of our courses of 2025.

Briefly, some updated news of the network of K Lamb Associates, 2025 starts with us bidding farewell to one of the founding associates. Katherine Lamb said that he has been instrumental to the development of what we see now as a well-respected, vibrant and hugely successful company in the field of delivering Incident Command Training and Assessment to the Fire Service in the UK and abroad. He knows who he is, we wish him all the best for the future and thank him for his tireless devotion. We also welcome 2 new associates who began their journey with us in 2024. We also wish them well as they become part of the KLA family.

In West Midlands Fire we begin the year with the delivery of a SFJ Awards Level 4 (ICL2) Award in Intermediate Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services. Our team will ensure that across the 5-day course delegates are given ample opportunity to develop their IC skills in a safe and encouraging environment. This feedback back sums this point up.

“The instructors are brilliant and raise learning points in a constructive manner. They bring everyone's thoughts into the training allowing full participation and engagement.” SFJ Awards L4 Course Northamptonshire Fire.

Greater Manchester Fire, in line with their IC Training Policy, are once again delivering their own SFJ Awards Level 3 (ICL1) Award in Initial Incident Command. We will once again support that course at their request by providing 1 KLA Associate who will provide support to their delivery team.

Cambridgeshire Fire have booked their annual Effective Command Behavioural Marking Tool Standardisation and Assessor Training Day. One of our Strategic Associates will attend the workplace and deliver the day to a room full of CFRS nominated Assessors. Covering National and local date captured by the EC tool attendees will finish with a short exercise confirming standardisation among their team.

If your service is a subscriber to Effective Command have you had your annual visit? Or if you’re interested in booking courses with us or speaking to our training manager about developing your Incident Command Training Plan please get in touch through our website: www.klambassociates.com
